Performance Fred Forest Poitiers Quartier Beaulieu FR3 TV de proximité Charente

He went down to Poitiers to give a lecture to students at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and the students insisted on his presence so that he could organise an event with them in the Beaulieu district, where some of them lived.

The students had some contacts with a local radio station that would provide him with staff and the necessary radio and video equipment. Once there, the artist discovered an ideal location: a sort of agora where the residents could talk to each other from balcony to balcony. What's more, the floor of this small square is made up of a checkerboard pattern that perfectly simulates the Territoire du M2. And that's all it took for Fred Forest to embark on this new adventure to create local television...

Produced with the support of Sylvie Marchand, professor at the Poitiers School of Fine Arts.
