PERSONAL DATA PRIVACY POLICY

FRED FOREST ensures respect for the privacy of his interlocutors and makes every effort to ensure the confidentiality of the personal information communicated to him.

This Policy provides information on the conditions under which FRED FOREST collects, processes, stores and deletes personal data in accordance with the new general data protection regulation (GDPR) which entered into force on May 25, 2018 within the European Union (EU).

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

Personal data corresponds to any information directly or indirectly identifying a natural person: first and last name, email, telephone number, etc.

FRED FOREST does not collect any unnecessary personal data. The data collected is processed in accordance with this policy and in compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

USE OF COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA

FRED FOREST takes respect for privacy very seriously. We do not disclose, share or sell personal information unless required by law or regulation.

We process the personal data collected for the following purposes:

  • Respond to requests from administrative and judicial authorities

We keep the processed personal data for the period strictly necessary to pursue the purposes for which this data was collected.

DATA SECURITY AND INTEGRITY

FRED FOREST takes the necessary technical, physical and organizational measures to preserve the security of this data and prevent it from being distorted, damaged, made inaccessible or from unauthorized third parties having access to it.

FRED FOREST chooses subcontractors or service providers who provide a high level of guarantees regarding the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures so that the processing of data meets the requirements of applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.

If FRED FOREST notices an incident with an impact on personal data, FRED FOREST ensures, according to the framework imposed by the regulations, to notify it to the CNIL as soon as possible after becoming aware of it and to inform the people concerned.

LONG BIOGRAPHY OF FRED FOREST

Fred Forest has a special place in contemporary art. Both by his personality and by his pioneering practices which mark his work. He is mainly known today for having used one by one most of the communication media that have appeared over the last fifty years. He is co-founder of three artistic movements: those of sociological art, the aesthetics of communication and ethics in art.

He represented France at the 12th São Paulo Biennale (Communication Prize) in 1973, at the 37th Venice Biennale in 1976 and at Documenta 6 in Kassel in 1977.
